We make many seasonal ornaments out of 1/8" thick mild steel. We tumble and polish them (4 stages) to a near mirror finish. Most of these are used as Christmas tree ornaments, although many have been used for sun catchers, mobile elements, wind chimes, etc. They are very tough and have been treated with a rust inhibitor, however, if left out in the elements for a long period of time, they will rust. Many of our customers like the rusty look. They can be painted. We have thumbnail pictures above (also click on "More Ornament Pictures, above).
